A recent CTL Bitesize presented a deeper dive into the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) for equity, inclusion, and overall student success. This followed up discussion from the August syllabus workshop on access and teaching. We thank our colleagues from the library for leading the way: Alex Baker, Andrea Boothby Rice, and Kelly Banyas.
You can revisit the presentation slides and follow up on various resources linked to the slides here.
We invite faculty and staff interested in exploring OER and its potential use in your teaching to contact us and consider working on this with further support provided by the Cromwell CTL. We are developing ideas for a CTL grant that would provide stipends for a pilot program focused on OER.
