Learning Community: End Indoctrination

3 Mar 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Exploring the “End Indoctrination in K-12 Education” Executive Order: Historical Precedents, Contemporary Issues, Future Directions Every other week, Monday, 12-1. Hodson. Lunch sponsored by Cromwell CTL. The Washington College Education Department invites colleagues to an ongoing conversation about the administration’s recent “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Education” executive order. Together we will read and review the order, as well as explore texts related to previous curricular reform efforts in American public education. We’d like to thank the CTL for providing lunch for participants. We’re approaching this following CTL’s “no-fuss” book club lead- while there are suggested readings each week, we will also structure the conversation to support participation for any attendee regardless of background knowledge or experience. Registration is suggested but not required. We will send registrants the suggested readings in advance of each meeting. The Executive Order is linked here. Register here. Schedule:
