Bryan Fair Residency: Free Speech and Hate Speech

Bryan Fair, law professor at Alabama and affiliate of the Southern Poverty Law Center, will be on campus all day on Tuesday and Wednesday, meeting with students, visiting classes, and offering public discussions on freedom of expression, inclusion, and legal perspectives regarding free speech and hate speech.

Organized by the Associate Provost of Diversity and Inclusion, this residency builds upon perspectives from the PEN America workshops while centering student participation and perspectives in the discussion.
